This supplemental Privacy Policy explains moontev’s storefront and support practices. Read it together with our Shopify-managed native Privacy Policy. Policy text does not itself obtain consent for optional tracking. Use Your Privacy Choices or contact us to exercise applicable rights.
Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to our online shop associated with moontev.com and its current Shopify address, c7d3ud-mf.myshopify.com, and to communications, orders and after-sales service with moontev. Contact details appear below. Shopify provides commerce hosting and may also process information for its own purposes as described in its privacy materials. We do not claim a company registration or entity status beyond our verified store information.
Information we collect and its sources
You provide contact and identity details, billing and delivery addresses, order selections, payment-related references, support messages and return information. A payment provider receives payment credentials through its checkout; we may receive payment status, transaction references and limited payment details rather than full credentials. Device and connection information may include IP address, browser, operating system, identifiers, referring pages, page activity and approximate location. Information comes from you, your device, Shopify, payment providers, shipping providers and service partners involved in an order or support request. Please do not send sensitive credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal information in messages.
How we use information
We use information to operate the storefront, provide product and checkout functions, process and verify orders, take payment when available, prevent fraud, deliver and track parcels, provide support, handle cancellations, returns and refunds, maintain records and comply with legal duties. Where optional services are enabled and legally permitted, information may support preferences, service measurement or advertising. We do not treat visiting this page or closing a banner as consent to optional processing.
Cookies, pixels and similar tools
Necessary technologies support the cart, checkout, security and essential session functions. Preference technologies remember choices. Analytics technologies measure use, while advertising technologies can measure campaigns or support targeted advertising. The presence and availability of each optional category depend on the actual tools and regional settings. Browser settings can block or remove cookies, which may affect functionality. Where a genuine consent or privacy control is presented, use that control to manage the categories it supports. Closing a banner does not prove tracking is absent, and this policy does not create a tracking switch.
Google and advertising technologies
We have not verified Google Ads, Google Analytics, conversion tracking, remarketing, Enhanced Conversions or personalized advertising as enabled. If such tools are later deployed, they may process device and browsing information for measurement or advertising, subject to applicable choices and consent requirements. Enhanced Conversions, if implemented, may involve appropriately transformed customer information for matching; we do not claim it is currently operating. This conditional disclosure is not a statement that data is presently sent to those tools.
Google Maps
Our homepage and Contact page directly load a Google Maps embed. Loading the map causes your browser to request content from Google and may disclose IP address, device/browser details, page information and other technical data; Google may use cookies or related technologies under its own practices. The map is not held behind a click-to-load gate. See Google Privacy Policy for Google’s practices. The marked correspondence address is not an invitation to visit or send returns.
When we disclose information
We disclose information as needed to Shopify and commerce hosting services, payment processors involved in an available transaction, shipping and fulfillment providers, customer-support and technical service providers, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. Disclosures may occur for fraud prevention, legal claims or a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not claim a named carrier, payment method or optional ad vendor is active unless verified. Optional advertising sharing, where it occurs, can have a broader legal meaning than a cash sale and remains subject to applicable opt-out rights.
Retention, security and international processing
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the relevant service, legal, accounting, dispute and security purposes. Retention varies by record type and applicable obligations; we do not promise one universal deletion period. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Shopify and service providers may process data outside your state or country, including in countries with different privacy protections. Applicable transfer safeguards and legal requirements apply where required.
Children’s privacy
This store is intended for general adult shopping and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. Additional age-related rights and obligations apply where required by law.
US state privacy rights
Depending on your residence, the applicability of a law and any exceptions, you may have rights to know or access personal information, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of a sale or sharing of personal information or use for targeted advertising. California residents may have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including information about categories and recipients of disclosures and applicable limits on use of sensitive personal information. We do not assert that every state law applies or that one response deadline applies to all residents. We will not unlawfully discriminate because you exercise applicable rights.
Your Privacy Choices and Global Privacy Control
Open Your Privacy Choices for Shopify’s native data-sharing opt-out process where supported. You may also email support@moontev.com with the subject Privacy Request, explain your request and state of residence, and provide an order reference only if relevant. Where applicable, recognized Global Privacy Control signals communicate an opt-out preference for the browser or device; their effect depends on applicable law and the store’s supported implementation. We do not claim to have changed or independently certified all privacy settings. Browser or device choices may need to be repeated on another device.
Verification, agents and response times
We may request proportionate information to verify an access, correction or deletion request and protect against unauthorized disclosure. We do not ask for full card credentials or passwords. An authorized agent may contact us with evidence of authority; where permitted, we may ask you to verify directly and confirm the agent’s authority. We assess requests under the law applicable to your residence. Where a 45-day response period applies, we aim to respond within that period; if a lawful extension is necessary, we notify you of the reason and revised time as required. Other rights or jurisdictions may have different periods. If a request is denied, we provide an explanation subject to lawful limits.
Appeals and complaints
To appeal a privacy decision where applicable, email support@moontev.com with the subject Privacy Appeal, identify the original request and explain why you disagree. We review the decision and communicate the outcome within the applicable legal period, including any permitted extension notice. Where required, we provide information about contacting the relevant regulator or state attorney general if the appeal is denied. You may also contact your competent privacy authority without first giving up any other rights.
Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in practices or law. The Last Updated date identifies the current version. We provide additional notice or seek consent when required; a policy update does not retroactively create consent for optional advertising.
